IMC Plan Overview

The finished plan includes (along with approximate weight in the grading):

  1. Front matter: a) a letter of transmittal to the client (see example of a good letter), b) a cover page, Table of Contents, and an executive summary,
  2. a situation analysis (20%),
  3. a creative brief (15%),
  4. IMC executions, which includes copies of the ads or other pieces you create (30%),
  5. media plan (calendar and budget) (20%), and
  6. evaluation plan (5%).

The remaining 10% is for the front matter and overall professionalism, including research depth and writing.
See the actual evaluation matrix I'll use.

Note that you may have an appendix with any other appropriate items. You will submit two full copies of the plan on the due date: one for the client and one for the professor. Your team will present the plan as indicated on the class schedule (final exam day).

You will submit a draft of your plan a few weeks before the due date for instructor feedback and revision suggestions (no grade).
